Catering came first -
Everything else followed

Diane Browne Catering was established in the early '90s and has been feeding Fairfield County ever since. Diane set up her catering kitchen, cafe, and bakery in Darien in 2003. browne & co. followed in 2014 — adding the shop to the cafe and bakery. In mid-2025, the shop expanded into the building next door, adding browne & co. home — a full furniture showroom with pieces ready to take home the same day.
Our team — many of them here for years — are as much a part of browne & co. as anything else. Whether they're in the kitchen, behind the café counter, on the shop floor, or keeping our shelves stocked, they know the products, they know the regulars, and they help keep the whole place running.
